Eyes Are Open, Legs Are Walking

There have been lots of changes in the whelping box lately. Eyes are open, legs are walking and their ears are starting to open so they can hear which means they have also discovered their voice!

Lana is making the pups nurse standing up more often than not which presents mild challenges to help them develop both mentally and physically.

The puppies are now learning to play with each other so new toys are added to the whelping box as well as a potty area. Very soon we will need to be moving them out of the whelping box and into the bigger play pen!

Time seems to just be flying by and it frequently seems like there is so much to do and so little time to do it. Especially when all I want to do is sit and watch the puppies play!

I will need to decide on a litter theme for registered names but as of yet the puppies haven't told me what it should be. The vet visit has been arranged for just prior to pick up and soon you will need to book your pick up date with me if you haven't already done so. Booking early will allow you plenty of time to plan ahead in arranging your personal schedule and will ensure your reserved pick up time best meets your needs.
